Heather Corrans and Rob Larty in partnership with family purchased the property eighteen months ago. They moved to Walpole with their son Ben, and along with Rob’s parents Ray and Monica Larty, fulfill the management role of this family enterprise.
Heather who was employed in administration said that running the property has been a steep learning curve. “The decision to move was one of lifestyle choice,” she said.
Rob who is a plumber by trade, said that he likes to call Walpole home.
“I wanted Ben to enjoy the outdoors and the fresh air, I never want to go back to the city,” he added.
Both Rob and Heather agreed that the Walpole community have been very warm and welcoming, which they said has been a bonus. Heather also explained that with their settling period now over they are considering expanding into other accommodation options.
Riverside Retreat is truly a hidden gem between Walpole and the Tree Top Walk, with free guest canoes, tennis courts and a private jetty this stunning accommodation offers great value for money.
