Des has extensively traveled Australia drawing, painting, sculpturing and recorded the landscape that resulted in many exhibitions and commissions. Des has lectured at Summer Schools University Western Australia, run workshops and private tutoring. In 1990 he lived and worked with Arnhemland Aboriginal Art Community.
